Notifications
Know when something happens on your websites: a new testimonial, a newsletter subscriber, a waiting list signup, a contact message.
Where notifications show up
Every submission to one of your embedded features produces two things:
- A dashboard notification — the Notifications card on your dashboard home page lists recent activity across all your websites, with an unread counter. Clicking a notification takes you straight to the feature's data — for a testimonial, that's where you approve or reject it. Mark all read clears the counter.
- An email — sent to the website's owner and collaborators, with a link back to the dashboard.
Choosing which emails you get
Emails are configured per person — your settings don't affect your collaborators. There are two levels:
Global defaults
Your profile has an Email notifications section with a toggle for each activity type: testimonials, newsletter subscribers, waiting list signups, contact messages. Everything is on by default. These settings apply to all your websites.
Per-website overrides
Each website page in the dashboard has a Notifications tab. For every activity type you can pick:
- Default — follow your global profile setting (the label shows what that currently is).
- On — always email me about this, on this website.
- Off — never email me about this, on this website.
For example: turn newsletter signup emails off globally because one busy site would flood your inbox, then set them to On for the new project where every subscriber is exciting.
What preferences don't change
Preferences only control emails. Dashboard notifications are always recorded, so you can scroll back through activity you weren't emailed about. Auth emails like magic sign-in links are always sent.
